Exhausted and a Rough Start in 24 hours...

Just so we give no one the false impression that all has been peaches and cream and that we have automatically found true happiness and bliss, let's just name a few of the adventures we've had in less than 24 hours: 1. Took 10x as long as we thought getting out of our house yesterday (made for some extra grumpy parents). 2. On the way to get food, a wheelbarrow in the truck slid forward and broke the back window. 3. Then the other car got the keys locked inside 4. John had to chase down some horses who escaped their pasture when he tried to come in to where our storage trailer is at 5) Caleb and I gave each other a hug to try to comfort our discouragement and in the process we knocked over a sentimental hot pad plate that was nearby. Yep that kind of describes our day. As I reached a point wondering if I should cry or laugh, a little voice in my head said, "Well, Angela, you were hoping for a more interesting adventure and stories to tell..." And that's when I decided to laugh. 😊
But then we had an amazing family who are our friends, welcome us into their driveway, eat dinner, breakfast and lunch with us, let us use their potties and shower (ours is still broken), watched parts of the BBC Pride Prejudice with them, laugh with us at our misfortunes, and just love us! We are so grateful!

Old Home. New Home!

Old home. New home. And a united family. The mountain to get to this point was ridiculously hard, but I hope will be totally worth it! Here's to a new huge adventure!
